1. Worrying About the Future

Everyone thinks about the future and plans for it, but spending too much time worrying about the future will do more harm than good. One person shared that living our lives in expectation of when you get a promotion, when you meet the one, or when you're earning 10% more instead of enjoying the journey can leave you feeling unfulfilled and unhappy.

2. Comparison

Comparison is the thief of joy. So many people fall into the trap of comparing themself to others, whether their success, appearance, or lifestyle. Someone suggested that getting rid of social media really helped them avoid comparison. Learn to step back from social media to avoid feeling envious of others.

Anxiety can be extremely debilitating and a major destroyer of happiness. One young person shared that anxiety is the reason they isolate themself and why they feel like the worst friend to anyone who is still speaking to them. It prevents them from truly interacting with the others.
