Saving money can be hard when we need to pay necessities such as bills, groceries, insurance, etc. We have to pay for so many things that we feel there is nothing left for us on the table. What if I told you, you could save extra bucks using free money apps?

Back then, I barely used my money. I would always save, save, and save until I needed it for something important or something that I really wanted. I love to live frugally but also treat myself to a lot of things as well. I liked to save money and spend it on things that matter to me the most. I know that some of us grow up in different circumstances, so everyone's financial problems are different.

I have found some ways to help you save a little more, and I hope these small tips help you guys out because I have been using them for quite some time now! Most of these free money apps are easy to use, and I highly recommend using them on your phone.

I also want to inform you that you are not making much money. If you think this will cover your full-time income, it's not. These apps are just to earn extra bucks here and there, like if you want a small meal or a cup of coffee. I want to be honest with you guys first and not deceive you all. I always find ways to help myself and others.

1. Cash App

This is one of my favorite free money apps that I love to use, and it allows me to send, save, and invest my money. The main features of this app are paying people and getting paid. It is similar to Venmo, where you can send money to your friends or transfer money from Cash App to your bank account (takes up 2 to 3 days).

You can also request a free Visa debit card called a Cash Card. This can be used at brick-and-mortar retail locations or ATMs.

Stock can also be purchased using the money in your Cash App balance. However, it has a limited selection of investment opportunities though. Once you are signed up, you have three options to invest your money: stocks, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and Bitcoin.

This is great for those who want to get their feet wet with low risk. You can put in as little as $1. Cash App is really easy to use, and anyone can start today!

2. Fetch Rewards

Do you like getting points and turning them into rewards? Fetch is an app where you can earn rewards points by taking pictures of your receipts, but if you purchase from the brands listed, you can earn more points. How cool is that, right?

To give you an idea, 1,000 points is equal to $1. You can trade it in once you have enough points to get gift cards. They have a list of gift cards you can choose when you get enough points, such as Amazon, Target, Addidas, Macy, etc. With this app, you are literally shopping for free.

I found this way easy and fun to do with little effort. I have been using this for a long time and love how easy it is. This is one of the free money apps that I use weekly.

Once you download the app and sign up with my referral code TQTFP, or use this link so that we both get additional points.

3. Swagbucks

Swagbucks is a free online membership program where you can earn rewards or cash back by taking surveys, answering questions, watching videos, and completing daily tasks.

Swagbucks allows you to make money while doing simple tasks. Who doesn't love rewards, right? You may think it's a scam, but it is not!

I use this during a small break or wait for my appointments. I don't use it often, but I would whenever I can. The tasks are extremely easy, and it goes by very fast, in my opinion.

You may have to take surveys, watch videos, play games, discover deals, and refer other people. It's not anything too complicated, and anyone can do it.

You can redeem your gift cards or get cash to your PayPal. You can earn between $25-$100 a month. It won't be a full-time income, but it'll give you extra money. If you have free time, I highly recommend using it.

It's never hurt to try something new and see if you can earn some money back, right? Download it and try it out.

4. Ibotta

Do you like to shop online? Ibotta is a free cash-back reward app similar to your credit cards. You can earn some money back by purchasing things online with the app or extension.

This app has partnered with over 1,000 brands and retailers, so you are most likely to know some of them. You can buy things from clothes, groceries, electronics, and so forth, and the app will give you cash back for your purchases.

There is always a holiday, birthday, or a pampered day for ourselves, and we don't want to splurge our money. This app is a great way to save and shop like a pro.

Try it out and see if you like it. If you sign up here, we both get $10 if you submit your first receipt, so it's a win-win for us.

5. Rakuten

You may have heard of Rakuten before. It was formerly known as Ebates but is now called Rakuten. It is a free app and extension where you can earn cash back when you shop online. It is very similar to Ibotta. If you love to shop online, you might want to consider downloading this.

Rakuten has become popular not because of its great deals but also its ease of use. The best way is to pair it up with your credit card. If you like to shop on Amazon, you can pair it with Rakuten cash-back offers.

It is much easier than searching for a coupon because you will always have your phone with you. When you need to shop for something, you can just search it up, and it'll show you the best available offers. Try it for free!

6. Honey

I cannot tell you how amazing Honey is. You can't earn money from Honey, but you can save some money while purchasing things online. I have been using this extension (also an app) on my laptop for years, and I love it. It has helped me to save a lot of money in the long run!

Whenever I shop online, Honey applies all the coupons it knows online and applies them to my order before I complete the order.

I have been using it for years, saving much money today! I love not having to type in the promo code because Honey does it all for me. It's as simple as counting 1, 2, and 3.

With Honey, you can save $5, $10, or $15 on your purchase. We all love to save an extra buck or two for other things, right?

7. Sweatcoin

How would you like to get paid just for walking? Sweatcoin is one of the best free money apps that everyone should have since it's easy money. You may think it's a scam, but it's not! I tried and tested it out already. You can earn money just by inviting friends, or you can earn rewards.

You can get so many things for free just by exchanging your coin. Sweatcoin has multiple brands, so there are many to choose from: fitness products, jewelry, restaurant voucher, self-care products, and many more.

New things are always being added, so every day can be different.

You have to download the app, let it run in the background, and start walking. It's that simple!
